Police gun down two suspected armed robbers in Delta

Officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force in Ebrumede Police Division, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday, January 31 gunned down two suspected armed robbers and recovered two locally made guns.
The Police also recovered a Toyota Corolla car with Registration Number: NEH 236.
It was learnt that the Police traced the suspects to Sakito Hotel in Agbarho in Ughelli North Local Government after a successful operation at PTI Road in Effurun.
The Police later traced and arrested the suspects at the hotel based on information and recovered the arms.
The suspects were also gunned down by the Police in their attempts to escape from the area.
Contacted, the Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka in an exclusive chat with DAILY POST confirmed the report.
DSP Aniamaka said, “The Police recovered two locally made guns and a Toyota Corolla car with Reg Number NEH 236 from the suspects.”
He added that,” They were gunned down in their attempts to escape after being arrested by the Police
